Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Zoe Zhang is a 16 year old Asian American youth poet.
In 2026, she received the gold key award for poetry at the regional Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
That same year, she was named a finalist for the Kentucky Youth Poet Laureate.
Besides competitions, she has made several public appearances, with the most recent one being at the Carnegie Center in Lexington, Kentucky for their Asian American Pacific Islander poetry event.
